1947	Foundation of the Willi Resch KG .
1973	Development of the exercise bike for the medical use, later on also for fitness requirements.
1981	ERGO-FIT designs the eddy-current-brake and installs it in the ergometer, a worldwide innovation, which has become a standard for all manufacturers. Because of this success the stylized Wirbelstrombremse is part of our logo.
1986	The Willi Resch KG becomes the ERGO-FIT GmbH & Co. KG.
1987	We produce our first stepper, the beginning of widely varied supply of different cardio products.
1990/1991	Development of a line of cardio products, which allow a training directed and controlled in connection with the individual heart rate. This innovation is representing an absolute novelty.
1995	Through the introduction of the chipcard system the individual control of training was possible on different machines.
2001	Sports scientists and physicians of different universities and ERGO-FIT found a scientific advisory board. This mutual support between theory and practice allows us to offer you the best products, which meet the latest results of scientific research .
2002	ERGO-FIT develops a line of strength products and is becoming a company, which offers all important fitness products in a whole.
2002	By the introduction of the INDOOR CYCLE ERGO-FIT is offering also equipment for the popular bike training in the area of groupfitness.
2003	The EOC (Easy Operating Concept) sets new standards for a user-friendly handling. The new ERGO-FIT CARDIO LINE 3000 already includes this system and supersedes the ERGO-FIT CARDIO LINE 1200 and 1500.
2004	The product range was broadened by the training and documentation software Vitality System 5.0 which is compatible to ERGO-FIT equipment as well as to products of other manufactures.
2004	Opening of the ERGO-FITness World in Pirmasens. In cooperation with Hans Wagenblatt (physio therapeut) and Benjamin Auer (soccer pro of Mainz/Germany), Michael Resch, general manager of ERGO-FIT, opens a fitness studio of special class.
2005	ERGO-FIT moves to larger facilities. 6000 m² production hall and 600m² office area should reinforce the German production site also for the future.
2006	Opening of the second reference facility Benny's Fitness World in Landau/Rhineland-Palatinate.
2006	With POWER LINE 4000 ERGO-FIT offers space-saving equipment with an impressive price-performance ratio .
2007	ERGO-FIT celebrates its 60th anniversary.
2007	Further development of the training and documentary software to Vitality System 6.0.
2007	With CARDIO LINE 400 we are launching a new productline both for the use in the medical sector and at home.
2008	Together with Prof. Dr. Schmidtbleicher ERGO-FIT developed the TORSO LINE, a back training circuit including a training system for a specific and effective training of the torso muscles.
2008	The third reference facility of the manufacturer, the Trifels Fitness World, celebrates its opening in September 2008.
2008	The first time, ERGO-FIT offers attended entry into rehab sport .
2009	ERGO-FIT presents its new product generation - the CARDIO LINE 4000.
2009	With the Vitality Circuit ERGO-FIT for the first time offers a chip-card controlled circuit including refunding concept .
2010	In cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and System Technology ERGO-FIT develops a data interface between the single health care markets.
2011	ERGO-FIT expands its capacities - and now produces on an area of 9.000 m² in the newly built production plant. And on the roof of the existing plant the new eco-friendly photovoltaics unit has been installed on an area of 6.000 m².
