60 YEARS ERGO-FIT - 60 YEARS OF PRODUCTION IN GERMANY

Michael Resch, general manager of ERGO-FIT describes the philosophy of the family-owned enterprise which already at the time of foundation targeted to set standards for the whole trade. To satisfy this claim all cardio and power machines are completely made in Germany to guarantee the maximum possible quality standard. This was one reason why 2005 ERGO-FIT relocated to new premises offering a production space of more than 6.000 m² the construction of a new hall in 2010 whereby the production space increased to more than 9.000 m².

As far as the production is concerned on a largest possible scale even the required component parts are manufactured in our own factory. So, for example, the circuit boards of the machines are equipped, soldered and finally processed in our internal electronic department. Even the cleaning of raw material, the subsequent pulverization and firing of the materials in the furnace is already conducted for 30 years by the qualified staff of ERGO-FIT.

To be able to work in a most efficient way ERGO-FIT uses a welding robot ensuring a high quality standard and tight tolerances.

To guarantee the approved ERGO-FIT quality the products have to pass complex tests. Computer made parts are tested 100 % and only released for subsequent processing after a positive result.

 

In addition, ERGO-FIT has a certified quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 13485.

In order to always meet these quality standards we use the opportunity to personally train our staff. So, for example, in the year 2011 we have 9 apprentices in the field industrial mechanic machinery and plant engineering,  milling machine operator, industrial manager and draughtsman.

 

We can also proudly add that ERGO-FIT is a certified manufacturer of medical products. This plays an important role in view of our customers including physiotherapy practices as well as hospitals and rehabilitation centres .

ERGO-FIT produces according to the „Just-In-Time“-method, i.e. the machines are only produced on order receipt to avoid long storage times and possibly occuring damages.

After the production the equipment is supplied through a forwarding agency or our own trucks. In a safe and rapid way our Crafters and trucks bring the goods to their destination.
